Meagan Good and Devon Franklin ‘Jump The Broom’ officially

Necole Bitchie reports: Last year, when Meagan starred in the film, ‘Jumping The Broom’, she probably would have never guessed that she’d be ‘Jumping The Broom’ just a year later. Over the weekend, she got hitched to Hollywood producer and Seventh Day Adventist preacher, Devon Franklin, in an antique, purple and gold themed wedding outside of Los Angeles.

Meagan walked down the aisle to ‘These Arms’ performed by the Craig Lewis Band while dressed in a custom R-Mine gown with a purple dipped train. At first, she had a hard time convincing designers to dip the train, however she was dead set on dipping it in purple. Of her dress Meagan said, ‘I didn’t want girly, I wanted handsome. It’s got a bit of a masculine feel to it. I wanted something that felt a tad bit rebellious and out of the ordinary. That felt closer to my personality.

Singer Shanice was on hand at the reception to sing, ‘Loving You’ while the couple enjoyed their first dance. According to People Magazine, they won’t have the chance to enjoy their honeymoon immediately after the wedding because Meagan is still filming her NBC show, Infamous. In the meantime, they will be skipping off to Big Sur, which is five hours from Los Angeles, for a mini moon.

And although they plan to get intimate for the first time now that they are officially husband and wife, they aren’t planning on starting a family right away.  They both have decided that they’d like to get to know each other as husband and wife first.

Congrats to the new couple! Sorry fellas you can now let go of your hopes of dating MG.
