‘Basketball Wives’ star Tami Roman settles $800,000 child support lawsuit

Looks like “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman is cashin out!  As TMZ reported on Sunday, it appears TRo has settled an $800,000 child support lawsuit with her ex-husband and former NBA star Kenny Anderson.

Roman got her first taste of semi-fame back in 1992 by appearing on the inaugural season of MTV’s “The Real World” back in 1992 and began dating Anderson shortly thereafter, with the couple eventually having two daughters together.

Roman, who filed the lawsuit back in 2005, claimed he had stopped paying the court-ordered $8,500 per month, with the total exceeding over $800,000 in missed payments.

Sources close to Roman revealed that she and Anderson have settled the case out of court, with the reality star reportedly receiving a little less than what she was owed. Future payments will likely come from Anderson’s NBA retirement fund.

For his cooperation, any and all warrants issued against Anderson in regards to the lawsuit were dropped.

Tami is a fan favorite on the VH1 hit due to her outspoken and upfront personality. Fans on “Basketball Wives” can catch the season premiere of the Los Angeles show on Monday, Sept. 10 at 8/7 c.

Hey TRo…..since your daughters are grown and can take care of themselves now….can we hold something?

  1. GOOD HE OWED THAT 2 HIS KIDS.. #DEADBEATDAD

  2. I don’t know if she is a “Fan Favorite” on the show. She took alot of heat this past season for her bullying of a mixed race woman named Keisha.
