U.S. Patent Office Denies Jay-Z & Beyonce Trademark Of Blue Ivy name

Back in January of this year, Beyonce and Jay-Z filed an application with the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in an attempt to trademark their daughter’s
name, Blue Ivy…..and they were just denied!

Bey and Jay were denied the grant due to a Boston event planning company who
supposedly has rights to the name Blue Ivy since 2009.
According to reports, the Boston company sued the couple for their attempt at
trademarking the name and Blue Ivy events won the suit last week, which now
means that Beyonce and Jay-Z have no legal
rights to their baby’s name.

We assume that eliminates Bey’s plans to start the Blue Ivy baby product
line…We guess sometimes you can’t have it all!

  1. UMMMM that is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen! One question, I see you and Melissa Phillips using that delicious felt aloh;#8230&wtere do you find it, and what do you ask for? It doesn’t look like regular old felt that we used in kindergarten, hee!
