As we previously reported, Evelyn Lozada and ex-hubby Chad Ochocinco were spotted out on a “date” Sunday night in Miami. With all the backlash Ev has been receiving for rekindling a relationship with her abusive ex, she took it upon herself to explain what’s REALLY going on.
Evelyn writes on her blog:
I wanted to wish you a happy and safe New Year and take time to address a few rumors and unanswered questions about last night. It seems as though things have gotten a wee bit out of control.
I attended a dinner with Chad’s daughter, not only because I love baby girl like my own, but to support Chad and his fan appreciation dinner. While at the dinner, several photos popped up on the Internet of Chad and I holding hands, while in the process of blessing the food. The blogs made last night seem as though, we walked hand and hand into the restaurant announcing a reunion, which wasn’t the case.

Former NFL wide receiver and reality star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is facing a year in prison due to the head butting altercation with Evelyn Lozada.
According to reports, Ochocinco could be placed behind bars for head butting Lozada because he previously had a domestic violence charge in 2000. Chad plead no contest in a California court for slapping his then-girlfriend after they got into a heated argument. He was sentenced to community service for that incident. Because of that, Johnson’s current misdemeanor domestic violence charge could be upgraded to a felony. If the prosecution chooses to upgrade the charge, Johnson could be facing a year in the slammer.
From now on keep your head to yourself CJ!
Evelyn Lozada has a few words for Chad Johnson after his arrest for allegedly head-butting her — first, stop blaming me … and second, get help for your problems, now.
Evelyn tells TMZ, “I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me.” As TMZ first reported … Chad told police that it was Evelyn who actually head-butted him during their blowout argument Saturday night.
Chad was arrested and booked for domestic battery.
Evelyn also says … “It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.”
Other sources tell us Lozada and her publicist manufactured this relationship with Johnson so that Lozada could have an ongoing plot line on Basketball Wives.
What do you think?
Someone need’s to manufacture a new football team for CJ to play for because right now he’s unemployed.
Whoa! They beat out Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries for the shortest marriage! Check out what the Associated Press is reporting:
