Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Shake Up; Who’s Getting Fired?

Love-and-Hip-Hop-Atlanta

Love And Hip Hop Atlanta season three is over and we’re hearing that there will be some major shake up in the cast for season four of the hit reality show.

According to reports, several of the current cast members will not be returning to the show for season four.

Sources say producers have already notified several cast members telling them that they will not be returning to the show. These include Scrappy and his baby’s mom Erica, Young Joc, Kirk, Rasheeda, Bambi, and Mama Dee.

Apparently Joseline Hernandez, Stevie J, Benzino, Althea, Mimi Faust, Nikko Smith, and Karlie Redd are all reportedly negotiating their new contracts for the next season.

We haven’t heard any mention of rapper Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera, but knowing his momager Deb Atney is going to make sure they return to the cast.

Why all the changes?  Supposedly the producers are looking to add some fresh new faces to drive up the ratings for next season.

Donald Sterling slams Magic Johnson, cites HIV status

(via LA TIMES) Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling lashed out at Magic Johnson during a CNN interview  broadcast Monday night, alluding to the NBA’s great’s HIV-positive diagnosis and saying, “I don’t think he’s a good example for the children of Los Angeles.”

Sterling’s comments came as he addressed racial remarks he made that prompted the NBA to ban him for life. In a recording released by TMZ two weeks ago, Sterling tells a female friend, V. Stiviano, not to associate with black people, including Johnson.

“What kind of guy goes to every city, has sex with every girl, then catches HIV”, Sterling told Anderson Cooper. “I think he should be ashamed of himself.”

Sterling also questioned whether Johnson has made a positive contribution to the African American community in Los Angeles. He then pointed to his own charitable work. Continue reading

Breaking News! Fred Flinstone Fired From Fruity Pebbles!

Say it ain’t so!  First Twinkies retire and now this?

WWE wrestler John Cena is replacing Fred Flintstone on the Fruity Pebbles cereal box because “Fred isn’t necessarily the … coolest or [most] relevant guy for kids who we are going after,” admits Post Cereals marketing director, Sharon Pupel. So instead they’re slapping John Cena’s mug on four million boxes starting this week as part of a special promotion.

“We’ve just been talking with kids,” the marketing hat continued. “They wanted more variety.”

Now, it’s true this is merely a temporary promotion—so there’s no reason for hardcore Flintstones fans to break out the pitchforks. But Post did talk of the spandex bro returning to the box in the fall “when school is back in session.”

Maybe it’s a good idea to get used to this?

And The Three ‘Basketball Wives’ Getting Fired Are…

Following some issues away from the cameras, the masterminds behind “Basketball Wives Jumpoffs” look to be overhauling a good bit of its cast for the upcoming fifth season of the show, including some fan favorites, as we previously reported.

According to a new report from TMZ, Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams, and Kesha Nichols are all going to be saying goodbye to their drama-filled lives with the rest of the “Basketball Wives” cast for a variety of reasons. In the case of Reed and Nichols, it is just due to them not being exciting enough to take the series to the next level. Meanwhile, producers are apparently unhappy with Williams suing Nia Crooks over the “slap incident” from this past season, and they don’t want to deal with drama that takes place in a courtroom rather than on-camera.  They are putting out a pretty strong message to everyone; beating each other for the camera is fine and if you want to retaliate, make sure it’s with punches, not court papers.
