Black sports online reported that Houston Rockets James Harden had paid a large sum of money to “hang out” with model Jenna Shea.
According to BSO Harden recently addressed this topic via twitter by saying the following.
Stop believing everything you hear.
BSO spoke with “someone close to the situation” in Houston about the matter:
“The exact amount of money maybe wasn’t $20k, I don’t know if it was more or less. It isn’t uncommon for players to send for women, they pay not so much for them to come, but to leave. The only problem with this situation is someone leaked to the media it was Harden who sent for them. If it was any other player no one would care, but Harden has a reputation and it became a story. No one considers it a big deal even if the story is fairly accurate. Things are being put in place to make sure it doesn’t leak to the media again.”
Tricks come in all shape, size, and beards!
Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace has been suspended 7 games by the NBA for a vicious elbow that hit Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden in the head. Metta World Peace claims that the elbow was unintentional and that he never would have attempted to hurt any player.
“The concussion suffered by James Harden demonstrates the danger posed by violent acts of this kind, particularly when they are directed at the head area,” Stern said in a statement. “We remain committed to taking necessary measures to protect the safety of NBA players, including the imposition of appropriate penalties for players with a history of on-court altercations.”
Metta World Peace has a checkered past that includes multiple suspensions his most famous infraction was the brawl between the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons in Auburn Hills,Michigan November 19,2004. Metta World Peace at the time was known as Ron Artest played for the Indiana Pacers when he went into the stands and began fighting with fans in the stands.
No one seems to know why Metta World Peace threw that wild elbow but we have a theory if you watch the video closely it appears that James Harden’s Rick Ross beard and Mr. T Mohawk attempted to bite World Peace on the elbow. So in reality it was self defense, hell it worked briefly for George Zimmerman why not World Peace?
On Sunday October 10, 2011 No U Ain’t Radio & The Tagg Team DJs were in the building as The Drew League and Goodman League squared off at Long Beach State’s Walter Pyramid for a much anticipated rematch of the August 20th game in our nation’s capital labeled “Capital Punishment,” in which the Goodman Team pulled out a 135-134 victory.
This game billed as “The Big Payback” featured a Washington-based Goodman League team comprised of NBA stars such as Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder), John Wall (Washington Wizards) and Rudy Gay (Memphis Grizzlies). The Los Angeles-based Drew League team featured James Harden (Oklahoma City Thunder), Trevor Ariza (New Orleans Hornets), Brandon Jennings (Milwaukee Bucks) and Matt Barnes (Los Angeles Lakers).
John Wall scored a game-high 55 points, accompanied by Kevin Durant’s 50 points for the Goodman League. But when the dust settled, it was James Harden’s team-high 48 points that led The Drew League to a 151-144 victory.
Check out some of the action from the game:
