Police have been called to Lil Wayne’s Miami home following an alleged shooting, multiple outlets report.
According to a police spokesperson, an unnamed individual called saying that he had shot four people inside the house.
TMZ reports that the rapper was not at home at the time of the alleged shooting.
Lil Wayne’s record label, Young Money, confirmed in a tweet that Lil Wayne was not present during the alleged shooting:
Birdman and Lil Wayne have officially declared war … settlement talks have broken down and Wayne will now sue his mentor, claiming among other things Birdman owes him $8 million.
As TMZ reported … the 2 titans tried coming to terms this week but it wasn’t meant to be. Now Wayne will ask a judge to declare him free of Cash Money and Birdman’s control. Wayne says Birdman has violated their contract by withholding the release of his new album.
As for the $8 MIL claim … Wayne says Birdman owed the money for his latest album — it was supposed to be an advance.
Birdman has held firm … he will release the album “in due time,” but clearly that’s not good enough for Wayne.
We’re told Wayne will keep recording but he will release his works outside of the Cash Money umbrella.
We bet Wezzy won’t need an umbrella when it’s time for Birdman to make it rain 8 million times.

Remember back in 2008, when Lil Wayne almost signed with Jay Z?
If his tweets are real, he may be regretting he didn’t go through with that move. Today, the Young Money rapper took to Twitter to express his disgust with his label who he says is holding up the release of his album, Tha Carter V. He also said that he wants out.
“To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy. I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.”
He later tweeted:
Meanwhile rapper Pusha T took the opportunity to do a little recruiting, telling Wayne to head over to G.O.O.D. Music is he doesn’t want the hassle.
Collaborations are very common place in todays music and has always been a way to bring artist together on one song to help bring attention to a particular release. The Am Caffeine morning show is introducing their unique take on the art of collaborations.
The Am Caffeine morning introduces their “No School” project which brings together legendary rap artist and R&B artist who have never worked or recorded songs together until now. The idea steamed from conversation between “Am Caffeine Morning” air personality/co-producer Doc Clarke and resident DJ Smoooth Dee. “Everyone is doing compilations and collabs lets do or own with a twist” as the conversation went further “No School” was born. The first release off the “No School” project is “Hit By”(3X’s Smooth) featuring rap legend Smooth B from Nice & Smooth, 90’s female rapper/singer Mc Smooth and DJ Smooth Dee on the 1’s & 2’s.. This is just the first of many more releases to come from the “No School” project. Take a look at what happened during the historic studio session:
