Reports Sohh:

“I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I’m mourning the death of my closest friend. But to have to accept the fact that it’s reality is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his a** off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don’t you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you’ve succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love!,” Mrs. Rice wrote September 9. (Janay Palmer-Rice’s Instagram)

This report claims the NFL may have known about the footage all along and may have reportedly turned a blind eye to seeing the footage earlier this year.

Commissioner Rodger Goodell made his disciplinary decision in the dark, which raises the question … Is that the way he wanted it? Sources connected with the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City tell TMZ Sports … NO ONE from the NFL ever asked for the video inside the elevator … video that was compelling enough to get Rice instantly fired. (TMZ)

Details of the Baltimore Ravens’ decision to release Rice surfaced Monday (September 8) afternoon.

Ray Rice won’t get another chance with the Baltimore Ravens after all. He might not get a chance anywhere else in the NFL either. The Ravens announced they’ve terminated Rice’s contract Monday afternoon, hours after TMZ.com posted video of the embattled running back punching his then-fiancée during an altercation at an Atlantic City hotel in February. Evelyn Lozada’s First Interview: ‘I Don’t Think Any Woman Should Have To Be Fearful Of Her Husband’

Just a few weeks ago, ‘Basketball Wives’ star Evelyn Lozada was involved in a domestic violence dispute with her husband Chad Johnson which left her with a huge gash on her forehead. Now for the first time, she is opening up in an exclusive interview with ABC’s Amy Robach, about the events leading up to the fight as well as what she would like for Chad to do if he would like for them to reconnect again. In between tears, she says that she just wants to hear him say, ‘I’m Sorry’ and she would like for him to get help. She also made it a point to mention that she is not the person that people see on ‘Basketball Wives’ while at home and she did everything she could to make Chad’s life better. ‘I was a good wife to Chad’.

Peep a few of the excerpts below:

On what she wants for Chad
I would like for him to tell me that he got help and that he is working on himself, whenever I talk to my sister or my girlfriend, I always say I want the best for him. I really do! And he is a good guy who made a bad choice. He loves football, he is very driven, a great dad. He made a bad choice that destroyed his life and I hate that I’m connected to that, I do, but it was his choice. It wasn’t mine.

It would have to take sometime [for us to speak again]. I love him very much and I think that us being away from each other is the right thing. So when is he going to say sorry? […] It’s the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love/ But you have to walk away because I have to protect myself.

On the events leading up to the head-butting incident

And then the next thing I know, he grabbed me by here [pointing to her head] and he head-butted me. I felt blood coming down my face… and I looked at him and I said, ‘You just head-butted me?’ And it just — everything just felt if it was in slow motion.

He was gone to me, like, it wasn’t him. He got out of the car, really, really quick and ran into the house, and I said to myself, ‘I need to get out of here.

On the decision to file for divorce
I said to myself, ‘I’m never going to go through that again, ever. I don’t think any woman should ever have to feel like that or be fearful of her husband.

I was a very good fiancé and wife to Chad. I did everything I could to make his life better. The person on ‘Basketball Wives’ is not the person at home. I don’t think he would marry me if I was.”

Pop the hood to watch the interview:

What do you think? Should she give him another chance?
