Bill Cosby has publicly thanked Eddie Murphy for declining to play the comedian — who has been accused of sexual assault by more than 20 women — inSaturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary special this weekend.
Cosby’s spokesperson said he was “very appreciative of Eddie and I applaud his actions,” NBC reports.
Norm Macdonald tweeted that he had asked Murphy to play Cosby during a Celebrity Jeopardy sketch, but said Murphy refused:

Chris Breezy hit the stage of Saturday Night Live last night performing his hot singles “Yeah 3X” and “No Bullsh*t”. Ironically he was introduced by Russell Brand (hubby to Rihanna’s best friend Katy Perry). His album F.A.M.E (which he changed from Forgiving All My Enemies to Fans Are My Everything) is scheduled to be released next month on March 22nd. Pop the hood to watch Breezy’s SNL performances.
